- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆During the process of closing on the sale of our house we were told by Erica that my wife's ex husband had to sign away on the title (which gave him half ownership). This house was purchased BEFORE the marriage and is solely owned and TITLED in my wife's name. It is registered in the county office and website and in the loan in her name ALONE. However, Erica and this title company said that her ex is now owner by the mere fact that he lived there and used it as his residence address. I asked Erica that if I lived with her in her home and used her address as my residence if I would become half owner. Her answer was yes. Anyone with half a brain knows that this not true.
